Job description
Tiler required to perform all duties related to installing ceramic, porcelain, glass and marble tile into residential homes and commercial buildings.Requirements:- Minimum 5 years experience- Good practical skills and cleanliness are essential- Ability to layout an area and to follow design plans- Accuracy and attention to detail- Maths skills for calculating material quantities- Creative flair and a good eye for design/detail- Customer service skillsDuties:- Setting out an area to estimate the amount of tiles and adhesive needed- Cutting tiles to size and shape around objects such as fittings and pipes- Preparing surfaces by levelling off with plaster, sand or cement- Arrange tiles according to design/layout plans and applying grout before finishing off
