Job description
Campus Kids créche is looking for an experienced créche Manager to work in a busy créche. This is a Maternity Cover to start in May/June 2018 until Jan/Feb 2019.
Main Responsibilities:
* To ensure the effective daily management of the Childcare Service in accordance with the Policies and Procedures of the Service, the Childcare (Pre School Services) Regulations 2016, any other relevant legislation, good practice requirements and be accountable to the Board of Directors.
* To ensure the safety and well-being of all children attending the Service.
* To ensure a dynamic curriculum is delivered to meet the individual needs of children attending the service.
* To Support & Supervise the Staff Team.
* To Support and Interact with families using the Service.
* To monitor and ensure that all agreed quality and safety standards are maintained in the Service at all time
* To monitor day to day administrative and financial operations within the childcare service
* The Adherence to all Policies and Procedures
Successful applicants must have the following:
* Hold a minimum Fetac Level 6 or equivalent Childcare qualification
* Hold an up to date First Aid qualification, Manual Handling and Child Protection Cert or have training booked for the above.
* Reliable and flexible on short notice
* Great personal and interactive skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Enthusiasm for the position
* An ability to use their initiative, be friendly and work as part of a team
* An efficient/professional approach
Two- three years experience with Managerial experience is essential.
