Job responsibilities:
- Provide residents with a high standard of holistic care and promote their independence
- Maintain client confidentiality and dignity
- Ensure implementation of individual care plans for each resident
- Promote and practice the ethos of the nursing home and ensure a safe environment for residents, visitors and staff
- Administrate medication in accordance to the policies and procedures of the Nursing Home
- Maintain records on the residents health, condition and treatment on a daily basis.
- Provide appropriate supervision for other staff as directed by the Director of Nursing
- Undertake any other duties as required by the Clinical Nurse Manager or Person in Charge

The ideal candidate will have:
- A Third level Nursing qualification
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- The ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and able to work on own initiative
- A high standard of English both spoken and written
- Full flexibility as one must be available to work day, night and weekend shifts on a full time basis

All successful candidates will be subject to vetting by the National Vetting Bureau.
