Holbein Carpentry & Joinery are happy to announce, that we are now hiring a CAD Technician.

Holbein Carpentry & Joinery is a third generation, family run business, which has seen continued and impressive growth over the past number of years. We strive to produce high quality and timeless bespoke joinery by developing our customer's vision through adaptive design. The suitable candidate will be joining our enthusiastic and hard-working team, based in the beautiful and vibrant town of Kenmare.

Holbein Carpentry strives for excellence and best practice in every aspect of the business. LEAN manufacturing, continuous improvement, safety and attention to detail are core company values. Our next strategic project is to expand our design team and increase production.

This position is a unique opportunity for the right candidate to:
- Create initial 3D drawings and adjust drawings for the furniture and joinery team using Woodworking for Inventor
- Ensure drawings fulfil technical standards and project criteria for approval and manufacture
- Maintenance of in-house document control systems
- Gain in-depth knowledge in a successful furniture and joinery business; from raw material to finished product
- Receive support and mentoring from our experienced team
- Liaise with external consultants and clients where required
- Train our design and manufacturing teams in the operation and efficient use of Woodworking for Inventor

Requirements for the position are:
- Proficiency in the use of Inventor or SolidWorks is required
- Striving for excellence and attention to detail
- Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Very good IT skills: MS Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
- Be fluent in English both verbal and written
- An understanding of the industry either joinery or furniture would be an advantage but not essential

Gross starting salary is dependent on education and experience.
3 months in-house training will be required for this position.
Hybrid work or full-time work from home will be available after the initial training is finished.
