Principle duties and responsibilities:
- Attending design meetings in house & on-site with clients / architects
- Document details, specifications, and instructions from meetings
- Site surveys for drawing purposes
- Breakdown architectural drawings and produce project specific, practical design that meets building regulation and the client/architect's requirements
- Provide working drawings using AutoCAD 2d and/or 'Woodwork for Inventor'
- Provide information to facilitate the design, manufacture, and installation of joinery products while looking to standardise process where possible
- Liaise with workshop production team to ensure manufacture conforms with agreed design
- Collaborate with and provide details where needed to other contracted trade people involved in the project
- Produce purchase orders
- Handover of drawings to the manufacturer team
- Provide guidance to the fitting team
- Work with the production team on further optimising & developing digital process such as CNC's

Required prior skillset:
- Must have joinery experience
- Must have AutoCAD drawings experience related to joinery
- Must have very good IT skills
- Must be a good communicator with fluent in English

Advantages skillset:
- Inventor 'Woodwork for Inventor' or other 3d modelling software experience is a benefit
- Working with CNC's on both: pod and nesting CNC's is a benefit

Gross starting salary is dependent on experience.
